What we do...
PRIME Project (Private Sector Participation in
Managing the Environment) is a project initiated and funded by the United Nations
Development Programme (UNDP) whose implementing agency is the Board of Investments,
Department of Trade and Industry (BOI-DTI). This project aims to enhance business
competitiveness through environmental management.
The Industrial Ecology Module of the PRIME
Project has the following objectives:
Apply principles of industrial ecology in
industrial estates and growth centers through a pilot project
Undertake studies on existing government
policies on industrial growth areas
Develop awareness among decision-makers in
government and the private sector
Assist DTI, BOI and the Philippines Economic
Zone Authority (PEZA) in developing environmental guidelines, policies, and programs
